Bharat Raj Parajuli

Assistant Professor of Finance, Monash University

Welcome, thank you for visiting my page!

My research interests span environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues, government and political risks, regulations, information and price efficiency, mutual funds, and empirical asset pricing. Broadly, my work explores how institutional, political, and informational forces shape financial markets and price efficiency. I focus on how ESG considerations, regulation, and information processing interact with asset pricing and capital allocation. My papers have been published in the Review of Asset Pricing Studies and the Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, and my research has received several recognitions, including the Financial Markets and Corporate Governance (FMCG) Best Ph.D. Paper in Asset Pricing, the Financial Management Association (FMA) Best Paper Finalist in Asset Pricing, and the Marriner S. Eccles Graduate Fellowship in Political Economy from the University of Utah.
